Well made professional grade product. This is a great, professional grade product. Sturdy soldered connectors which can be disassembled to repair the wire if needed. No need to guess if the cable is shielded - you can see the shield right through the clear cable jacket. Shielded cable to minimize noise in audio circuits. This is particularly important for line level audio signals. Flexible wire. No need to yank on the cable - terminals are large enough to be easily gripped for inserting and removing from mating terminal. For me, the ability to customize the length and/or repair the cable (if needed) is a significant benefit over cables with molded-on terminals. I have several of these in various lengths and plan to purchase more as needed.5Useful to connect my recorder which requires 1/8" stereo input to my sound board with XLR out.I use this 3.5mm TRS Male to 2 XLR Female cable to connect my recorder, which takes 1/8" stereo input, to a sound board, which has XLR output. The wiring of the cable I received is as follows: tip (left) to pin 2 of red XLR, ring (right) to pin 2 of black XLR, sleeve to pins 1 and 3 of both XLR. I'm used to red being right, but this is not really an issue as I just marked the cables with L and R. It's funny how most TRS->XLR cables have tip/ring/sleeve connected to all three pins of both XLR connectors which is not really useful. So I'm very glad I found this cable.I disassembled one of the XLR connectors and noticed that the solder joints look nice and strong.5Satisfied upon use, but use them and see first.Just what I was looking for in a connection cable. Quality, style, and price that others don't compete with here. The length was right, the plug is correct for any 3.5mm socket. Most don't come the way this one does. Please review included photos to OVERSTAND. Highly recommend this Y-splitter over others. I am highly appreciative for this cable. Mobile DJ and I depend on my connection cables 100% of the time. Buy this and know what you pay for is what you get. Don't expect premium for budget prices. The tips started to come unscrewed after a few plug in and outs of the cable. Caution when using!4The images of the 10 feet cord are not displayed correctly, so i had to returnI'm sure this cord works well like the other LyxPro audio cords i have purchased, but i had to send it back for the reasons below.*I thought that the 2 XLR (Left and Right) part of the cord would be the extended part when i bought the 10 foot variety.*The cord's length is due to the 3.5mm TRS being 10 feet long, while the 2 XLR part is very short.*I needed a cord to connect 2 studio monitors to a single 3.5 TRS input, but due to reason number 2, i couldn't.If there was a different image from the smaller versions of this cord to the 10 feet versions, i would have known, but its my fault for not researching it furtherI gave it 5 stars because i trust it will work appropriately for the situation where someone would require this cord type.5Worked fine for a while, then the crosstalk started!!Bought this in September 2018. The cable worked fine for a while, I'd say about 7 months, then it started to mix both channels, which was the death of it for me because I run a click track on the left channel. Imagine playing a gig and all of a sudden the click track goes out on the main PA. I did the troubleshooting with several cables, both XLR to 1/4" and 1/4" to 1/4", and the issue is the cable.1Cable is good. XLR connectors are not...as good.I've been using LyxPro Quad cables for over a year, and LOVE them. Just got the 4ch Ethercon cable with connectors. Super quality. So I didn't hesitate to order this when I saw it. But the XLR connectors are too big. I have to force them into the mixer, which is not a good idea. And then, they are almost impossible to remove. GREAT cable, and the connectors are good...but be prepared to leave them in place, or fight to get them out!2Solved the problem I was having with RODE Link Wireless transmitterThis cable has solved the signal flow problems I was facing with getting stereo sound from my RODE LINK Wireless transmitter and receiver to my Zoom H4n Pro. LyxPro also solved the problem of finding a way to monitor the audio I was recording by allowing me to use the Zoom H4n Pro's 1/8 inch monitor output. It takes some tweaking with the audio levels from the RODE Link Wireless transmitter and receiver, the DSLR camera being used, and Zoom H4n Pro, but once the levels are solved, the reward of crystal clear, stereo audio coming from your headphone monitors, makes the audio engineering worth it.4Shielding Does HelpI replaced a thinner, unshielded cable with this from my computer to my mini 2-channel amp and it made a noticeable difference in reducing a background buzz from my computer. This seems to be a well made cable, and I expect no problems from it at all. But my use is as a permanent connection from computer to amp, powering bookshelf speakers, so the cable will experience no ongoing plug/unplug or bending stresses.I do have one gripe, though: the red plug is the left channel, and the white plug is the right channel for stereo outputs, so the RCA ends are incorrectly colored (red should be right, and white should be left).4It seems to fit into what I need...I have a few i devices in protective cases, the problem comes while trying to use those devices while plugging into large systems... With the vast majority of cable choices out there, 80% are too thick to seat fully into the headphone jack, so you have no right channel... This cable functions find in that area...5I love this cableI love this cable. I use a Zoom H4N for Field Recording in Film. This cable allows me to tap into the on board mics by the back of the Zoom and splits the signal into L and R so that I can Simultaneously record 4 Channels!! Works perfectly and no need to spend more money on a bigger recorder.5
